Worximity's mission is to make factories smart by connecting people and equipment in real-time to increase performance and efficiency.
The Worximity story begins with the pursuit of the perfect tool for real-time production monitoring in the manufacturing industry. Yannick, at the time maintenance and continuous improvement director in a food factory, had travelled the world looking for a technology with the potential of displaying KPIs in real-time. Not able to find a solution, he decided to create his own monitoring technology. Excited by the potential of his creation, Yannick founded Worximity in 2011. The years 2012 and 2013 mark the beginning of the first version of Tileboard and the real-time dashboard, the first clients discovering the potential of the technology and the increasing evolution of market acceptance as many recognized companies and brands start to leverage Worximity to drive intelligence and ROI in their facilities. Since 2014, growth has been fast, with the product continuing to evolve, with a web version of Tileboard and the TileConnect smart sensors, VC investment, a new office in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal and a highly qualified team of experts that is growing exponentially. With the rise of the Industrial Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, based on connected objects, Worximity, with hundreds of connected pieces of equipment with its TileConnect sensors, plays a key role in this fourth industrial revolution, making businesses more connected, more efficient, and better performing.
